Nintendo Controller & Joy-Con Repair

Stick drift, connection issues, and broken buttons are very common on Nintendo Switch controllers and Joy-Con. We offer professional left and right Joy-Con repair so you can get back to gaming without random movement or disconnects.

Nintendo Joy-Con Repair

Left & Right Joy-Con – Common Problems & Repair Options

Joy-Con controllers have a lot of moving parts in a very small space. Over time, analog sticks wear out, rails loosen, and internal connectors can fail. We repair both the left Joy-Con (usually with stick drift and movement issues) and the right Joy-Con (often with camera, NFC, or wireless problems).

Left Joy-Con Repair

Left Joy-Con Repair – Drift & Rail Issues

The left Joy-Con is usually where stick drift shows up first. It is also the controller that gets the most movement while playing.

  • Character moves by itself even when you are not touching the stick
  • Stick does not register full movement in any direction
  • Joy-Con frequently disconnects from the console when attached
  • Left Joy-Con does not lock in properly on the Switch rail

We replace worn analog sticks with high-quality replacements, repair or replace the side rail and internal flex cables, and clean internal contacts for a more stable connection.

After repair, we recommend performing a controller calibration in the system settings to fine-tune the new stick response.

Right Joy-Con Repair

Right Joy-Con Repair – Drift, Wireless & Button Problems

The right Joy-Con not only has an analog stick, but also the home button, NFC reader, IR camera, and wireless antenna. Any of these can fail after drops, pressure, or liquid exposure.

  • Stick drift or dead zones similar to the left Joy-Con
  • Buttons not responding or sticking
  • Right Joy-Con loses connection when used wirelessly
  • Amiibo (NFC) not detected or IR camera not working

We repair or replace the analog stick, button flex cables, antenna module, and other internal components as needed. All work is done using proper tools and tested on a real console before returning to you.

⚠️ Controller Care & Usage Advisory

To extend the life of your Nintendo controllers:
  • Avoid pressing the sticks too hard or pushing them past their natural travel
  • Do not twist or bend the Joy-Con while attached to the console
  • Keep liquids, sweat, and lotions away from the buttons and sticks
  • Store the Switch and Joy-Con in a case when not in use to prevent accidental damage
Very heavy use and physical impact can still wear out analog sticks and buttons over time, even after professional repair.
