“Searching…”, “No Service” or IMEI issues can come from the baseband circuit on the logic board. We diagnose and repair baseband-related faults for selected models.
When It Looks Like Baseband
Typical Symptoms
- Phone always shows “Searching…” or “No Service”.
- IMEI is missing or shows 00… in settings.
- Cannot activate the phone, activation server error.
- Signal drops to zero while other phones on same carrier are fine.
- History of drop, bend, or water damage.
Repair Approach
- Check antenna lines, SIM reader and software first.
- Run board-level diagnostics on baseband power and clock lines.
- Reflow or reball baseband CPU / PMIC on supported models.
- Replace damaged RF components or filters when possible.
- In some severe cases, only data-only recovery or board swap may be possible. We always explain the options before proceeding.
Not every no-signal problem is fixable at board level, but proper diagnostics will tell you whether a logic-board repair, a simple antenna fix or a replacement device makes more sense.
