What We Check
Board-Level Diagnostics
- Main power lines (PP_VDD_MAIN, VPH_PWR, etc.)
- Short circuits and open lines
- Liquid damage inspection on CPU and PMIC areas
- Burned components, corrosion, cracked solder joints
- PMIC and sub-power IC function tests
Repair Possibilities
- Replacing shorted capacitors, filters, coils
- PMIC replacement or reball (model dependent)
- Microsoldering under microscope
- Boot testing on DC power supply
- Data-only recovery if full repair is not possible
Many “dead” devices can be revived with proper board-level diagnostics. Bringing the phone early improves the chance of a clean repair.
